It’s always good when something of what you are doing gets some form of recognition, and this is where I show some my successes.

Classic Car Paintings

Triumph Magazine Article December 2017The editor of the Pre 1940 Triumph Motor Club magazine contacted me after seeing my painting of a Triumph Gloria on my website. This painting went on to be sold to one of their members and commissions from other members acquired. Here's a transcript of the article:
WORKS OF ART. The painting (left) is almost as desirable as the actual car. Local amateur Leistershire artist Frank Bingley spotted Martin's Gloria 6 Light Saloon at a recent gathering and felt compelled to get it on canvas. He's captured it very nicely and has agreed to sell his services to members who might like something to hang in the house to remind them of what's under the Winter covers in the garage. I've discussed his techniques and a variety of either cotton covered boards or framed pictures in various sizes are available to the customer's choice and prices start from around £100, plus carriage (which can be saved if you collect). Frank is happy to work from your favourite photographs although he often prefers to visit.
