This is a self portrait using the Zorn palette. Swedish artist Anders Zorn used a palette of just four colours for many of his paintings. His colours were white, yellow ochre, cadmium red light and ivory black, which works very well for portraits. In this painting, I've substituted ivory black with Payne's grey, which gives a bluish tint to black when titanium white is added. Acrylic on board 30x30cm.
